Matrix Associate Tutor Programme 2026-27

Matrix College of Counselling and Psychotherapy is delighted to continue the scheme for UKCP Registered or BACP Accredited counsellors and psychotherapists who wish to gain experience as a tutor and potentially work with Matrix in the future.

This is an opportunity to learn skills and gain experience in group management, training adult learners, consolidating and teaching counselling theory and supporting students to develop their integrative framework. By participating in this programme you will gain CPD hours.

Requirements for application:

• BSc or equivalent level of counselling training and professional body registration or accreditation (UKCP/BACP)
• A minimum of four years post qualification experience
• Experience as a supervisor is desirable
• Commitment to attend for three teaching units which will be a mix of both weekend and weekday units (dates of these are negotiable)
• A personal statement and a statement of personal understanding of Integration
