Counselling Training College

Our academic standards and quality are monitored by Middlesex University who appoint an external examiner who ensures that our training programme meets the required academic standards and is equivalent to other university training.

Our professional standards are overseen by the UKCP and we adhere to their Standards for Education and Training for Psychotherapeutic Counsellors.

We are a registered provider of Higher Education.

This means we have demonstrated to the Office for Students (the regulator of English Higher Education) that we:

• Provide a well-designed course that delivers a high-quality academic experience for all students
• Support students from admission through to completion
• Ensure students’ outcomes are valued by employers or enable further study
• Award a qualification that holds value over time, in line with recognised standards
• Pay regard to guidance about how to comply with consumer protection law
• Have a published student protection plan setting out the risks of course or provider closure, and how we will protect students’ interests in such an event
• Have the financial resources to provide and deliver the courses advertised
• Have the management and governance arrangements necessary to provide and deliver the courses advertised
